It's cut as a relaxed fit, roomy enough to layer a hoodie or midlayer underneath without feeling restrictive. The stretchy cuffs with thumbholes and adjustable hem keep snow out even with the looser silhouette, and sleeve length is separately adjustable for dialing in coverage.
