Product Description
Built for Salomon's pro team and stripped to its fighting weight, the Assassin Pro attacks every zone of the mountain with surgical precision. Ghost Carbon Beams and Bamboo Rods inject explosive pop into its lightest-ever core, while Rock Out Camber keeps it grounded on hard pack and free-floating in powder. The Quadralizer sidecut pulls tight turns without thinking twice. For riders who want freestyle versatility and backcountry reach on a single board.
Product Details
| Rocker Type | Rock Out Camber: traditional camber between the feet for pop and edge hold, with early rocker at tip and tail for float and forgiveness across all terrain |
| Shape | Directional Twin: twin-tip geometry with a slight directional flex bias, rides best in one direction while remaining fully capable switch |
| Sidecut | Quadralizer: Salomon's proprietary multi-radius sidecut combining four distinct radii for versatility across terrain, with a tight radius in the center for quick turns and a wider radius toward the tips for stability at speed and in powder |
| Core | Ghost Green Core: Salomon's lightest core construction engineered for the best response-to-weight ratio, reducing overall board weight without sacrificing feel · Popster: dual-density core insert system with denser material at the insert zones for increased pop and durability, integrated directly into the core |
| Stringers | Ghost Carbon Beams: carbon fiber beams running tip-to-tail within the core, reducing swing weight while adding longitudinal stiffness and pop · Bamboo Rods: bamboo fiber rods integrated into the core for natural pop and vibration dampening |
| Laminates | BIAX HD Fiberglass: biaxial high-density fiberglass with fibers running at 45° angles for torsional flex and edge-to-edge responsiveness · Fiberglass Dampers: additional fiberglass dampening layers for shock absorption and vibration reduction |
| Resin | 30% Bio-based Resin: epoxy resin system incorporating 30% bio-sourced, plant-based content to reduce reliance on petroleum-based chemicals |
| Sidewalls | Gunslinger Sidewalls: Salomon's premium rubber-infused sidewall construction for superior dampening and durability, reducing vibration transfer and improving impact resistance · ABS Sidewalls: acrylonitrile butadiene styrene sidewalls for durable, impact-resistant protection |
| Base | Sintered EG: sintered base with enhanced graphite content for improved speed and reduced static electricity, finished with a premium Fine Stone Finish for optimal wax absorption and glide |
| Edges | All Mountain Edge Bevel: bevel angles optimized for all-mountain riding, balancing grip on hardpack with forgiveness off-piste |
| Additional Features | 4X2 insert pattern compatible with all standard bindings · Natural Wax factory treatment |

Assassin Pro Snowboard 2027 FAQ
Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?
The Assassin Pro is built with Salomon's lightest core — Ghost Green with dual-density Popster reinforcement — plus ghost carbon beams running tip to tail. This is a pro-level setup engineered for demanding freestyle and backcountry riding. You need to be intermediate to advanced to unlock what this board offers: responsive edge control, playful pop, and the agility to handle terrain switches in real time.
What's the difference between camber and rocker?
The Assassin Pro uses Rock Out Camber: it has rocker curves at the tip and tail that lift you in soft snow, but cambered (arched) sections underfoot for pop and grip. This hybrid means you get edge hold when you're carving hard, plus natural float when you go deep. Rocker alone forgives mistakes; camber demands precision but rewards it.
Is this board good for powder?
Yes. The Assassin Pro is directional twin with a 20 mm setback, putting your weight toward the tail. Combined with the rocker in the nose, it floats you high on fresh snow without forcing you to lean forward. The terrain range spans all mountain to powder, and the light construction keeps energy in deep conditions. It's built to stay effortless in powder while staying locked in harder pack.
How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?
The Assassin Pro sits at responsive flex: firm enough to hold an edge at speed and absorb chop without chattering, yet playful enough to tweak and spin in the park. Ghost carbon beams add snap without weight, so you get precision carving and stable landings. At speed, that responsiveness stops the board from washing out. Slow, it stays nimble.
What makes a base fast — extruded vs. sintered?
The Assassin Pro has a sintered EG base with a fine stone finish. Sintered is porous and soaks up wax deeper than extruded; it glides faster on cold, dry snow and lasts longer under heavy riding. You'll need to wax more often, but your speed payoff is real, especially on hardpack and ice.
