Twincraft Snowboard 2027 FAQ
Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?
The TwinCraft is built for intermediate to advanced riders who want to split time between powder and park. It combines a powder-focused shape with twin freestyle flex, so you can ride backwards and forwards with equal pop. Perfect if you're confident on the mountain but want a board that rewards creativity and playfulness, not just charging straight.
Should I get a twin or a directional board?
The TwinCraft is a directional twin, which means it has a wider nose than tail and a setback stance, optimized for float in deep snow. But unlike pure directional boards, it's symmetrical in flex, so you can throw tricks switch easily. You get the stability and powder punch of directional geometry plus the freestyle fun of a twin in one package.
What's the difference between camber and rocker?
The TwinCraft pairs camber underfoot with rocker in the nose. Camber snaps and grips under your feet when you're carving or popping tricks. Rocker in the nose lifts the tip into the snow instead of digging in, so you float over powder without fighting the board. That combo keeps you locked in the back half while the front stays playful and forgiving.
Is this board good for powder?
Absolutely. It has a volume-shifted shape, a wider waist than most boards its length, and a dedicated nose lift shape. The rocker in the nose and extra width mean less effort to stay floaty in deep snow. Ratings confirm it: this board scores 10 out of 10 for powder performance, so it's designed first and foremost for blower days.
What do carbon stringers or carbon additives do for the ride?
The TwinCraft's core is reinforced with a carbon fiber and natural flax composite stringer running tip to tail. Carbon snaps energy and pops the board when you launch tricks or ollie; flax absorbs vibrations and road noise. Together they make the board lively without feeling stiff, so landings feel snappier and the ride is more fun at any speed.
